From the official website:

"Alty fans will need no reminding that should Stevenage be promoted, it will leave Altrincham as the only club to have won the Conference (or its predecessor the Alliance) and never tasted Football league action. Stevenage won the league in 1995/6 but ground grading prevented their promotion. Alty won the title twice in 1979/80 and 1980/81 but under the iniquitous re-election system."

What about Enfield? Wealdstone? Runcorn?
