We didn't play great today against a good Corby side and we went on to win still!
Watmore had a full 90 minutes and was looking good until the end.
Lawrie is back and was playing well considering his lack of football recently.
Back to my first point, a few months ago I reckon we would have lost today but winning games we didn't deserve to is a great sign of progress!
Lets keep this great run going! :)

We were poor at the back in the first half, and the pitch didn't really suit our passing game. I'll take the three points.
In the general eulogies over Duncan's outstanding performance, let's not forget the obligatory classy show from Stu. And Scott Leather had another fine game when he came on. When the highlights are up, I hope we can watch the pass he played for Duncan about 5 minutes from the end which was Premier League standard.

Hard fought game on a heavy pitch.
We were below par from recent standards but it was a different kind of game today. They worked very very hard and never let us settle. That 8 for them was an absolute bear.
Stuart was immense again (their goal was deflected apparently), Watmores goal was incredible and Scott Leather made a huge contribution when he came on.
No one was really poor today buy a few were below their best.
That said, the table will say we got three points today and that is what matters.
Cannot wait to see Duncans goal again..

Workmanlike performance - Won ugly but it reads as 3 pts gained however they were earned - this scenario last season would have seen us lose that game today. Well done lads Onwards and Upwards

I don't think everyone understands me, when I say it's positive, it's because we played poor but still won!
All good teams and successful teams have to win some games like this, where the points should not have gone their way yet they still do.

Last season, we had the big wins but couldn't grind out the ugly wins. It therefore is a massive positive that we now appear able to do both. Long may it continue! :)

Your not going to play poor for 23 matches and win that's silly however will forgive you the flapjack went well with the mild to be fair most games we've been playing well

Sometimes you have to win ugly the book says 2-1 win and 3pts we'll take it and move on, Histon on tuesday will be tough they seem to have improved lately winning at worcester and drawing with halifax

It was positive. The backdrop of our recent performances highlight yesterday was not up to the same standards. Corby were no mugs, they played to their strengths. A three point haul, some individual performances to warm the heart and fourth place make it a positive. A foot note on a school report would red "could, and has, done better".
Come on Alty - keep this run going.
