He was at the 'corn a few years ago, hes the best keeper we had since ray mcbride in the 80s, youve got yourselves a hell of a keeper.  Wish him well from us all at runcorn.

He's only second choice but last season he had a run in the first team and showed some good form. He had previously been our first choice and was prone to some howling errors, particularly a couple against Runcorn at the Halton Stadium a few years back. A good solid reserve keeper now if you ask me.

We're very lucky to have a solid reserve keeper like Acton, he's brilliant when he has to step in for the mighty Coburn.
He was slightly unlucky to lose his place last season when Coburn regained his fitness but that just shows how highly regarded Coburn actually is.
