Just noticed that the first friendly isnt the visit of manchester united on 19th July,but we actually travel to Neil Browns Abbey Hey on the 12th of July!! JUST THIRTY DAYS FROM NOW!!. Looking forward to seeing a large Alty contingent gathered on the grass near the bar at goredale avenue to get an early glimspe of some of our new signings, Just thirty bloody days, thats made my evening, even if I cant attend the opening league fixture due to a fecking wedding.

Unlucky Hughsey - no way you can get out of it? Best hope we get Wrexham on the opening day then!!
