Well, didn't go today but I will be there at Crawley next Saturday. However, it appears we are beginning to run out of hope. Ok, York are a quality side and certain to be in the play off mix come end of April, nontheless Tamworth managed to go there last weekend and grab a 2-0, today we let them walk all over us judging by the commentary. The gate of 1327 sounds way below what we were expecting too.

Anyone who went, can we recover from this blow?

Why the hell will that ball not go in the net, even when we are scrambling in front of goal it never goes in and yet the opposition always score in these situations.

Unfortunately you could kind of see the result coming today....Alty are in a bad run with nothing seeming to go our way.  York had been having a bad run culminating in losing to Tamworth last week.  Just our luck of course that first, they didn't save their really bad performance for today and second, they had to do it last week not against a team in the top half but a team in the relegation scrap with us.  So after that they have team meetings, manager firing them up all of that stuff so you knew they'd be well up for getting it out of their system today.  And, of course we happened to be the oppo for them after last week...just typical at the moment!  Sounds like the game was over inside 10 mins.   If we don't get something at Northwich I fear the worst.  Come on Alty!

Have to say it did sound like that from the commentary. Even though it was Radio York, we are not talking bias here, merely the number of decent shots and goal chances. Sounded to me that it could have been 4- 2 maybe at laf-time, but certainly no better than that.

Having said all of that, I didn't expect anything from this game and we basically still need to take points of our nearest rivals in order to survive. Need to stop this run though.......and VERY quickly.

If we can get a draw at Crawley and then take a noisy army to Northwich we can get the win and take it from there.

Pretty good summary of the situation I feel Alty USA, I'll be at Crawley next week but feel like its out of duty, can't see me enjoying it much, especially as its a cr*p town. You have to keep the faith though otherwise what's the bloody point, that elusive away win will come, I dearly hope At Vics and I think once it does it will give a huge boost to the team and everyone. So much of this is about belief and confidence. A losing run like this is destructive, but imagine right now if we had say one more win and a draw, would we all be so downbeat?

I am a big fan of Acton, but Stu did make a no of good saves today, unfortunately the parries went to the opposition, it is the defence that needs to tighten up!
