I know it's a bit late but I've been out of email circulation since the match...
1) What a brilliiant performance from the singers - Proud of you all! My three kids now understand why someone would support Alty rather than a premiership club - the next generation of "Bucks Alty" on the way to being hooked.
2) The last time I saw Alty draw 0-0 away in the FA Cup 1st round we won the replay 4-0 and then lost 1-0 in the 2nd round at Telford! And Densmore was playing right back.
3) 3,200 is the second lowest ever crowd at a League club against Alty. Only beaten by 2634 at Darlington in 1983
4) We continue to be unbeaten at 4th Division grounds, although we've lost at home a few times
5) Barry Howard is our leading goalscorer against Football League clubs, with 5 goals, folowed by John Rogers and Barry Whitbread on 4 each and John Davison,Ronnie Ellis and John Hughes on 3
6) In 51 games against league clubs (since the war) we have won 15, drawn 11 and lost 25, with our home record being won 10, drawn 2 lost 16. Millwall was therefore our 50th game against League opposition.
The above facts are brought to you courtesy of Virgin Atlantic on my flight to New York on Sunday and fuelled by more chardonnay than is good for you. I will miss the replay as I am in India next week - the last time I was in India for a FA Cup replay we lost 1-0 to Hucknall / the home team beat bigger opposition 1-0 (delete as applicable for a half empty / half full reading of the world)
