Decent for BSN I guess you mean? I don't disagree but if we serious about winning it we gonna need to be better than just decent

ideally we need bsp quality replacements
exactly
And do we not think that most BSP quality players - REAL quality - will be playing BSP football (full time)......

most if not all the nine signed up could do a job in bsp

I don't know if sentiment is at work here but no-one has mentioned our captain as being particularly and consistently poor over the last half a dozen or more games. We may feel we need a left back as Buzz's knee is shot but I believe we need BSP quality at right back too. Densmore is not that person.

I hope new signings don't get written off as not BSP quality before they have started with us.

Ecky

I suspect they will be written off by some as not good enough before we've even approached them.

It would be nice to be able to recruit some more BSP quality players buthow do people suggest that we compete financially with BSP teams when we are on BSN attendances and not full time?

Oh and for what it's worth, I'd probably be keeping Rodgers (if he wants to stay) and hoping he can have an injury and illness free season

Think the idea is to recruit players with the potential to play at BSP standard ideally but we usually get players that have come down from the bsp or released etc, GH did this well bar a few shockers that we churned out which we have to take on the chin, i remember nicky clee taking a while to adjust to the higher level but once he did he was great and one of our better players, i would love us to be finding these types of player now.

The blue square premier has about 10 semi pro sides and a few with gates like ours first things first lets win this leauge if that means getting rid of decent players but replacing them with better so be it

The quality of the signings is the imperative thing

We need to hit the ground running next season

For me this is where Lee Sinnott will prove himself
