squad of 18 is probably 2 GK, 6  def, 6  mid and 4 attack

With probably extra emergency cover in def & mid.  So 6 out and out defendes + Carl, 6 midfielders + Perry or Lawrie at a push.

So I think we are short one defender doesn't really matter where as we have decent options in all positions at the moment but probably CB depending on Williams best position.

And 1 midfield, definitely right winger, preferably a creative Nicky Clee type, leaving Boshell and Richman in the middle and Moult and Rogers as cover.

Add Gilroy and any other youngsters from George and you have a very decent looking squad from 1 to at least 19!

I wouldn't want any more than that no matter how much Duncan money we have - save it for when we go up, we'll need it more then!

not really any weak links in there, apart from Reid and Gilroy, both of whom have good potential and who knows Gilroy could be the next Watmore.

Happy with the squad, the bench will be much stronger this year and that is great for competition for places, any of those could do a good job in the starting 11.
