"Altrincham 2-0 Ebbsfleet
Altrincham continued their surge up the Blue Square Premier table with a deserved victory over Ebbsfleet United.

Colin Little latched on to Matthew Doughty's 27th minute free-kick before firing into the bottom corner to give the Robins the lead.

The visitors' best opportunity came in 42 minutes when Michael Gash saw his effort saved by Stuart Coburn.

The hosts made it two in first-half injury time when Chris Senior slotted home Mark McGregor's cross."

Do they even go to the games?

It's the first positive match report on there I can remember without any insinuations!
We must be improving!

Two things.

1. SURGE, loving seeing that applied to Alty rather than plummet. I'll repeat it again. SURGE!!  ;D

2. McGregor's through ball was absolutely exceptional, perfectly weighted and technically excellent. A really good piece of football. Reminiscent of Asa's lovely drilled through ball for Kieran Lugsden at Aldershot in the 0-0.
