Title: Fancy Dress Away at Hinckley ?
Post by: PukkaPieman on April 06, 2013, 08:15:04 AM
Not sure if we have done this before but how would the faithful fancy making this trip fancy dress? Glaaster do it and it seems like an idea. Comments?

OMG it's Slough Town's silly hats day all over again.

I would have handed over hard cash to be present to see them in them the day they got relegated.

I think the grand total of our fancy dress efforts have been Matt Taylor wearing a wig at Hucknall.

As Jimmy says fair play if some do it but it's not for me as a miserable sod.

Always hated fancy dress - horrible enforced jollity!

Up there with New Year's Eve, Karaoke, Children in Need/Red Nose Day/any number of celebrity 'talent' or dancing shows!

Part of the joy of non-league football is that it allows you to be utterly miserable.

Some teams do it brilliantly, see the Hartlepool Smurfs last year, but unless everyone does it you look stupid.
Like you don't look stupid in fancy dress anyway .....
