The style sheets are now not resolving so the styling comes from the cache on your computer.

The style sheets sometimes gives a 404 error, clear your cache lose the styling.

Also we have no SSL layer on the site, which can cause these sorts of issues as non secure files are blocked for security reasons in modern browsers.

Otherwise it's because you are just sh*t at computers... up to you.

Either way Gary doesn't do this forum for anything at this point, so it would be amiss to blame him for it. Always happy to help try to fix the issues if it's wanted.

To be clear I wasn't trying to blame Gary. I was suggesting that maybe Chrome has tightened up recently which is causing the issue. I've cleared my cache and deleted all my browser history and rebooted. Still getting the same.

Interestingly when I visit the forum just now it invites me to login but then my browser warns me that the link to Altyfans isn't secure. It never used to do that.

Perhaps I'm just sh*t at computers. I only worked in IT for forty years so only a beginner really  :)

I'm on windows 10 and chrome and it doesn't work properly. After it went pear shaped it did work OK for a while using Firefox and Bing but now they are giving similar results on multiple machines
Something has clearly changed, maybe an update in response to an identified threat. It's a real pain to scroll down to try to find new responses amongst all the background clutter.

Doesn't work correctly on my android phone either. That's also using chrome.

No other website I use is giving similar issues so it does suggest it's something in our website code.

Who looks after it these days?

Hi Harriers9
Thanks for the parking info.
I've been getting similar to your dropbox link for the last month or so. I've tried it on multiple devices and my phone and it's the same.
No-one else seems to have the problem until you mentioned it.

It's a great scrapbook you've got

It's not so surprising though. The Premiership and Championship are stuffed full of foreign players which means all the home grown talent has to shuffle down the pyramid a bit if they want to be a footballer.

Thanks for that bit of history. It was before I arrived in the Northwest.

Just got back from the family grave in Yorkshire. The beer was great!

I don't see it as a strange take. He clearly thinks all other things being equal we're better than the Shaymen.
Whether that is true remains to be seen. So far, we've won on penalties and lost 1.

It was fine margins, touches that went astray, interceptions that would have been made on another day, some of it was tiredness, and even the pitch looked like it had way too much water on it.

Clearly we were miles away from the performance we saw against Solihull but there's a week to recover and put things right.
Onwards and upwards.

It was a poor game. I thought the pitch didn't help. Definitely needs to dry out a bit for our style of play.
Justin was like a fish out of water.
Hoping for better on Monday

Just chill,

I'm not expecting much. Its a big ask to produce another sterling performance with less than 48 hours rest. I hope I'm wrong cos I can't make new years day.

At the end of the day it's not a reflection on those that do turn up. It's just a wish that there should be more. Who wouldn't want to play in front of higher level  crowds if they could?

I'm not sure about Dan coming back.

As for Newby, he reminds me of JJ. Sometimes you never know what he is going to do next, and neither does the team.

Everywhere is like a rice field and more rain to come. I think it will be difficult to play our normal game if it does go ahead tomorrow
