This season Vs last season

There are statistics and damned lies but;
 as a direct comparison between our results against the same teams last season Vs this season are as follows
(may be noted FGR are possibly a better team than they were last year?

Exeter home 1-2................1-4 (hit by two last minute goals)
Halifax away 1-1.................2-2 (arguably a better result after being 2 down)
FGR away     2-2.................1-3
Stafford away 0-1............... 1-1 (arguably stafford a worse team this time)

But after the same fixtures our league standing is/was

this year P4 W0 D2 L2 F5 A11 pts 2
last year P4 w0 D2 L2 F4 A6 pts 2

Once the players gel and Cote brings in the necessary additives i reckon we'll be fine.

Seems lawton centre mid with Whalley playing behind the striker(s) may be our good option..

We are on course to be saved at the AGM!

Looks worse when you take the Grays result into account though.  :(

Do you think GH will keep with that formation or will he revert back to his trusty 4-4-2 with Lawton on the right and Joe & Colin up front? He's not one for change as we know  :-\

How could i forget the Grays match?

It seems that was the only real big surprise match although they had stuffed kiddie 5-0 so you could argue the cote set his stall out approrpriatly to that and Grays turned out worse than we thought (or did we stifle them?)

Yes of course that puts us 3 points down on last season but a win Vs oxford and we're right back in there so all to play for!!!
