It's the way we've always worked here, I mean we all still want (and rightly so) a return of Chris Senior.

Hulme looked okay on the right wing at Gateshead and Torquay,  I would leave the rest of the team settled and just put him in for Newby. He hasn't been as prolific as we or he would have liked but he still retains the ball well and gives defenders something to do.

Agreed, this is the other viable alternative to bringing Osborne into No10 and moving CCC out wide (which I still think would be my own preference for now).

I'd much rather have Jordan out there than Brad Jackson currently.

As it stands Hulme would be choice as rw.

As for playing Osbourne as the 10 id rather play Gould there

Cruel but true. 🙄

True. Osborne is a passenger.

Not a fan of Con-Clarke out wide but could give Pringle a few games No.10 and have Chris out wide.
Hulme did OK out wide but not sure about his stamina to get back.
Jackson has been really poor this season. Not sure why PP keeps bringing him on.

If this past few years has taught us anything, it's that the team is greater than the sum of its parts.

Appreciate I might be in a minority, but I think Osborne is more useful to us further up the pitch than playing in one of those deep roles. At least mistakes don't get quite as regularly punished, and sometimes you need the backbone of the team to be unspectacular, and the flair out wide.

Pringle is obviously popular with fans - and a great footballer in bursts - but clearly Parky doesn't see him as a starter, Osborne is very obviously ahead of him in the pecking order.

CCC does a lot of his good work out wide - he wasn't fully settled back into the club when he was used there earlier in the season.

For what it's worth, I'd still be looking to dip into the market for someone else if we have the capacity to do so.

I think its certain we'll try and get a re in on loan. It won't be down to money but availability of a suitable candidate

Pringle is finished. If he was much cop he’d be playing.

Decent available wide players  who would fit  in to our system  are hard to find at anytime of the season. The fact that we are struggling to think of  many or  even any shows this.

I know I've banged on about it a few times, but I was the same about Newby and it didn't work out too bad...

Are we safe enough yet to experiment with the system?

We have two of the best central midfielders in the league. Both have decent enough engines, and both are capable of playing as more enterprising Number 8s.

If someone like Harry Perritt is available (and seemingly out of contract in the summer), could we deploy a single holding midfielder like Jake used to do?

Play Pringle out there and then sub him around the 60th minute with Jackson.
