 2 1 Alty win.  Not a fluid performance, but more than enough for Histon.  Patience is the key.

Ref - a nice mug of Camp at half time.

Regulation 3-0 win or a 1-1 draw fair result. Hope the earlier one to ram the mid table comment down their throats

It's going to be tough against opponents in good form after a long midweek trip.

Still, if we are going to nail down a top 5 spot, then winning away at 19th is a must I'd say.

With that in mind I think we'll scrape past them 2-1. The pitch will presumably be a glue pot but that will be bad for both teams given the passing styles we both employ. The fact that they are generally a team of kids might help us too on a night like this if the pitch is heavy and the game gets a bit scrappy and physical. We'll also have to make sure that we don't let the notoriously intimidating home crowd get to us at the Lions Den that is The Glassworld Stadium.

Aside from that, it's a cracking day out at London Alty's favourite BSN away day. All aboard at Kings Cross early doors and let the beers flow....

A grim 1-0 defeat (ever the pessimist!).  We are due one.

its a two one win to alty with reeves and watmore scoring . histon take their eye of the ball as their youth team play liverpool at home on weds in the FA cup.
At least one of London Alty is secretly sick when they get home after being on the piss all day . (wouldnt happen if he had still lived up north).

Some of us are better at keeping it secret than others...

Simple - we have to win.

The long drive wont help and we may be carrying heavy legs from Saturday. However lets hope Histon more than a fair days shift against Halifax and are suffering from heavier legs.

If the pitch is in a good passing condition we will win. If the pitch is heavy, waterlogged and muddy we might struggle with our new style of play.

2-0 down at half-time. Sinnot gives em a bollocking, Reeves 65 min and Whatmore equaliser 86 min salvages a point and remain unbeaten since Dec;
