Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Nine players leaving...

Lawrie?  One of the most inconsistent soft players. He better put several rockets up his arse. Gutted about Clee, I would have seen if he could have got back fit as even in his last appearance at Chester when half fit he was still destroying players until his groin snapped. I would have kept Luca too because he is decent alongside Leather, they just never played much together last season. Still a decent defender but maybe on a high wage. The rest are correct decisions.

I would keep Deasey,  Dens, Havern, Leather, Marshall  ( if he can keep fit ), Moult, Richman, Clee, Crowther ( if he man's up with his injuries ), Reeves, Rankine ( if he loses his attitude and weight). If we could get Holness then he would be a good addition and give us 4 good centre backs.

Crowther would probably go down with writer's cramp whilst signing his new contract.

haha that is funny. Just thinking we need wide players but I suppose Crowther cries off far too often. Ranks might have a bad back but he's played a fair few games so unless he's on a ridiculous wage I defo think we should keep him.

And hugging before kick off is for soft teams and I think it shows a sign of weakness. You come out get in position and stare the opposition out. Football is a lot about mind games aswell as the physical aspect.

Our season ended when we stopped playing with 3 in centre mid and Ranks up front. How we haven't got a centre mid in is an absolute joke and the lack of heart and aggression in our play is shocking. We deserve to go down. We are such a soft fanny team too, we get bullied. Just a poor poor season and changes should have been made months ago. Fuming. If I was manager this team need high intensity, learn how to close down, track back, attack the ball etc and a lot of strength training. We seem to stroll around the park getting flicked off the ball. I've turned BT sports off but Lawrie AGAIN lost possession for being a fanny and what the hell was that defending by Griff. Simply don't play players who are so ineffective out of position. Lawrie should only play as a no.10 central, Leather as a centre back and so on. Just awful decisions and silly silly tactics in games. Said it at the start we are nowhere near good enough to have two up top. Those players need a firm kick up the arse or they can do one.

Yeah the crowds have been good but no premiership games. The club have done so well attracting all the young fans. I hope that they aren't being put off too early, one could be our future centre mid haha

Playing 3 centre mids also allows our full backs to overlap which they haven't done for weeks now. Griffin has been awful recently but his crosses early in the season were creating goals and chances. We've missed Clee and Densmore so much. Dens acts like a right winger aswell as full back. We had our best spell in the season when Rankine was up top and high wide players like Crowther  ( if he can ever keep fit ) and now would be Josh on the left. We had Moult protecting the back 4 and allowing Richman and another close and break. We are nowhere near good enough to play 4-4-1-1 because Lawrie still remains high up the park.

Seriously wasting my money and time. Absolutely no fight and they look defeated. How the hell haven't we got a centre mid in all season is shocking. When Lawrie is on top of his game then he can be a game changer, like the ball to Josh for the goal but he has too many bad games and very much drifts in and out so we have needed 3 centre mids for a long long time. I would start Rankine over Reeves, Reeves is not at all in form and Rankine is a better option. The only time Sinnott decides not to hoof the ball into the clouds we break and score. Sinnott to Lawrie and onto Josh. Last opportunity was wasted. Sinnott can throw it long so why didn't he take the throwin then have everyone in the box?Keep saying it but we can't do the simple things right. Our set pieces for years have been awful, we never do anything with them. I often feel we are worse off when the ref blows up. Windy day and no one wanted to test their keeper. No urgency and they should be ashamed. I am skint and debating whether I save the cost of watching these soft lads go down.

Baffling. They go down to ten men and we keep Moult sat in front of the back 4. I remember only one overlap run made by our full backs, it was shocking. No width for the majority of the game, closing down or getting tight to their players didn't really exist. It was right choice to bring Rankine on but why change our play to the ineffective long ball? Rankine has good feet and the 10 minutes before he came on we went through on goal 3 times from balls on he ground. Sinnott sulked when moved to right back and stood too far off players.  You would have not had any idea that they only had 10 men if you didn't know. They collected the ball and drove at us. We needed width to open up the middle of the park to take advantage of the extra man. Instead we played long balls, our wide players came in central and our full backs didn't even overlap. Moult acted as another centre back, we had the extra man?????? Just bizarre. Only Leather and Luca deserve credit. Again the opposition closed us down and simply wanted it more. We have far too many players who pussy stroll around the pitch. We always give teams yards of room. Negative tactics and lack of effort yet again.

Was not Sinnott's biggest fan but I did not dislike him. Just not enough there for me in terms what I expect to see from players and tactics when I pay 14 quid a game. I am very much old school and need a team with passion and big hearts.

However I am very much for our board. They are Alty through and through, they make decisions for the better of the club. It is not a business, it is a passion and big family. The sports hall is impressive and one day will fund some of the clubs expenses. They stick by managers and don't get in big time charlies and they stay within a tight budget. Yes at times we needed extra players and wrong players were brought in but I have huge respect Graham and his family. May they long continue.

Thanks for some good memories but he never sat right with me. Good luck and very professional but I now want see some passion. Tols until the end of the season then reasses.

Said it from day one with Sinnott, he can see a player but likes the soft player- he got rid of Lawton straight away. He wasn't a great player but clearly too much of a leader or warrior for his fanny play. No old fashioned grit and there is not one leader on that pitch. How we haven't got a centre mid in is now beyond a joke. Sick of repeating myself. They need rockets up their arses starting with the biggest one up Sinnott. Bunch of fannies. Couldn't hear one player trying to rally the rest up. As I keep saying we don't even get the simple things right. Is there any point of us taking our own set pieces????? We don't do f*ck all with them. What do we do in training? . Next season we need to find fit, taller players with some f*cling heart. Saw this coming months ago.

First half was terrible football but we had a better second half because we used Ginnelly more and Lawrie was excellent in his favoured central position. First half was endless long balls to the very ineffective Rankine. I think he won only two headers all game. I think we need Reeves and a deeper Lawrie for a few games. Holness was solid again, Griff had a good game too. I just feel we need to get it down on the floor  and play more direct again using our wide men. Give Rankine a rest and Reeves a go.

Great news but when fully fit it will always be Leather and Havern for me but both have had dodgy patches which is always expected but still my favoured partnership. Massively missed Densmore with his excellent energy and overlap runs.

I hardly use the word hate but I hate Macc, mainly because they have a high number of horrible people supporting them, if you can use the word supporting. If by any chance our players read this then please give it your all, I want a battle out there. Let's get tough, god I hope Richman is fit. Message to the club, let us have all the side for the second half, it makes a huge difference to the support and that means we will get behind. Stop being a yes club and giving in to the covering. They don't do it for us.
