Watmore and Tuesdays Team

Firstly I thought Brooke had an OK game, not a fan but do not want to come on here and just slag him off each time but at the same time it is goals we need and he will not score many, a Joe O’Neil type of player. Secondly Sinnott needs to realise we must start Duncan, he creates chances, scores and generally is a big concern for the opposition, so even without the ball he can open things up because you will find one or two defenders always drifting towards him. Look at the record this season with Duncan starting and when he hasn’t, says it all. The problem now is that Sinnott is a very good player with an excellent delivery so let’s give Watmore a chance up top which is his natural position. Not many defenders would catch him and I think if he played every game he would not be far behind Reeves on goals tally. Whilst on Reeves, he is a must starter but recently is all round game has dropped and I think it is a confidence issue. I thought young Lacey had a good game, breaking down a lot of their attacks and he is easily criticised, I think he will be a good player as he matures. We need to start picking up 3 points so Sinnott if you read this then start attacking and let’s play our best player in Duncan, he is being wasted. I like Lawrie a lot but seems to have lost a bit of pace but let’s give Duncan a chance up top with balls being thread through. The below team should start the next game, attack attack attack

                                             Coburn

Densmore             Leather   Havern      Doughty

Sinnott             Moult      Rodgers                       Clee

                            Whatmore   Reeves

If the pitch is like a cow field again I really wont suit Watmore's style as the ball will get clogged down and he wont be able to run with it. Problem being if it is the pitch will only get worse as the game progresses.

I am sure that is the team we would all pick

But I bet Sinnott starts somewhere

Scott Leather would keep his place ahead of Danny Hall for me, otherwise thats the team.

I bow to your greater knowledge mate, admittedly I haven't seen him other than in the cup replay. Just assumed Hall would come back in, but if Leather has taken his chance he deserves to keep his place in the starting XI.

Not been particular impressed by Hall, but at the moment I would still (just) pick him ahead of Leather

In light of the heavy frost predicted for this evening and the forecast for temperatures being just about above freezing during Tuesday, I suspect that our visit to Droylsden may well be postponed until 2013.

Just out of interest is your evaluation of Jordan Sinnot based on your extensive viewing of him playing or might it be somewhat influenced by some antipathy toward his father?

In addition to the above, the likelihood of fog is such that if the game should go ahead priority should be given to players with luminous boots and easily visible hair - another argument for starting Watmore ... ?

That would be my team as the 4 games they have played together they have won with ease though be harsh on leather who looks better than hall

That said, the ground underneath should be soft as the temperature hasn't been low enough for a few days allowing like a permafrost to have happened. I think it'll go ahead but be bloody cold
