See main site for new signing!

Welcome to the club A-Jay!

PS. Can we get the squad photos and profiles up to date?
For example, surely Fisayo is not still with us?

The official team & individual player & staff photos take place on Thursday, therefore you should expect these to be updated from Friday. This is earlier than normal e.g. last season's official team & individual photos were taken on October 1st ahead of the season start 2 days later.
Most clubs tend to have their official team photograph shortly before the start of the season, primarily to avoid players being in the team picture then departing shortly afterwards.

Is there a reason we're starting significantly laters than usual in Conf Prem? EFL started Friday, North/South start next weekend, we've only got 3 matchdays in August
[/b]
I suspect that it's because the National League wanted to align the length of the close season with the EFL, which finished 3 weeks earlier in May.
National League North & South will have wanted to start as early as deemed practical, with their season having been cut short in 20/21.I thought that they might start last weekend or even the one before that, which is when the North West Counties & Northern Counties East League started, but I suspect that the reason it's not until this weekend is related to player contracts i.e. starting earlier would have meant 1-2 weeks extra wages to pay.
Whilst the National League has 3 fixture rounds in August, we only have 2, as we are the team that doesn't play on August 28th.

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Trafford next Tuesday 10th Aug

Attn Trafford FC, tried to book tickets via your online system. There is no link there to booking site, so went on it via Google. Got all the way through registering to payment, and when we hit the pay button after card details, it doesn't work.

I assume that if I pay on the day, I will have no problems getting in??!
[/b]

You can pay by cash or card on the night, Steve:-

Nantwich Town have clarified the admission prices & payment methods for tonight's pre-season fixture:-

https://www.altrinchamfc.com/news/nantwich-next-up-as-alty-continue-pre-season-work-out

Ticket News

Admission prices agreed for the match are as follows:

£8 - Adults

£6 - Concessions (Disabled & Over 60’s)

£4 - Under 16’s

Tickets should be purchased in advance and can be purchased from Nantwich Town's online ticket portal: https://nantwichtownfc.ktckts.com/event/nanpsfa06/pre-season-friendly-altrincham

It is possible to make a cash payment at the turnstile but this is not Nantwich Town's admission payment preference.

Good to hear Dover's money worries are over

Indeed, Wayno,  I got my first 8 hours sleep in ages last night.

Were we ever "free"?

Good to see that we are now entering deep philosophical territory on the forum.

All of which prompts me to pose the following slightly-adapted Zen koan:

'What is the sound of one hand clapping in the Golf Road End?'

Is it a happy hand clapping?

The deadline for submitting a bespoke Puma kit for 2021/22 was October 2020, therefore the first season that we will have a bespoke kit is 2022/23 & we need to submit our kit by October 2021.

There are plans to involve a supporter in this process.
