Just wondering will there be any sort of "just giving" page for those who cannot attend. Maybe just to buy an e ticket would help. SBL

Some people are buying a ticket if they can't attend but would like to support & some people who are attending are buying a number of tickets to support Shaun's testimonial.

Expecting our away game at wrexham on bank holiday monday to be a sell out (in the home section), does anyone know whether we will be issuing the away tickets? or if they will be buy from wrexham?

The game is still 19 days away & it's not unusual to have not received any match information, including tickets, at this point.

I think that BT Sport may be on the point of announcing their next tranche of live games & it's highly likely that Wrexham will be involved here & there could be a change of KO time for at least 1 of their April games, although I would be surprised if it's against us.

Also, Wrexham have a bizarre fixture schedule having played their last 2 games at home & their next 5 games are all at The Racecourse. Our game is the final one of this 7 game run.
Therefore, whilst it's our next away trip, Wrexham have 4 home fixtures to play before we trundle across the border on Easter Monday. This may mean that it might be next week before we hear anything.

I can't keep up with all the comings and goings. How long was he with us

He came on as a sub in a couple of pre-season friendlies at West Didsbury & Chorlton & Nantwich Town & then signed a contract for Alty before being immediately loaned to Macclesfield FC.

West Didsbury & Chorlton & Nantwich Town sound like a big club !
;

It's a huge club. 20 goals scored on Saturday without reply. ;D

Seems strange to me how some of the signings like Mudimu slip by unnoticed until he appears on the teamsheet and others like this one are made big announcements

We try to announce each signing with a website article & interview, Seth, however this isn't always practical. as in the case of Alec Mudimu, who had been training with us & was signed & drafted into the squad at the last minute for the trip to King's Lynn.

« on: January 24, 2022, 01:54:33 PM »
I don't want to alarm anybody, but Moors striker Andrew Dallas has scored 8 goals in their last 2 games. The whole Alty team has scored the same total in their last TEN games. If Kennedy Donkey plays on Saturday we're in deep in the brown and pungent.

That is frighteningly good form but prior to the last 2 games, he hadn't scored for 4 months.
Very good player though, who was excellent when he scored twice for Weymouth against us last season.

I see Jordan Is yet to score for us still..... I do have some sympathy as for large parts he is cutting a lone figure up front . I wonder if he can score consistently at this level as we urgently need more goals

It isn't strictly about him scoring - it's more his ability to hold the ball up and create opportunities for others. He isn't being helped by those around him, and particularly Hancock who is well below the form we know he can produce.

The whole team seems to be drained of confidence. We're guaranteed to drop to 17th on Tuesday night, since Aldershot play Southend, and whatever the result one of them will go above us. Defeat at Solihull next Saturday will leave us sitting ducks for the chasing pack. Weymouth got a great point yesterday, and I don't rule out the possibility of them actually winning their two upcoming home games against Dagenham and Aldershot. I really can't rule out the possibility of us being relegated unless we start picking up points, and February is vital for that purpose, as we have three home games (Woking, Weymouth, Dagenham) and a visit to Kings Lynn. We also have a blank Saturday when others could gain ground on us.

The rearrangement of the King's Lynn game means that we do not have a blank Saturday in February, Phil.

The side that had Rankine and Reeves in it had too many players that had completely lost their confidence. We are nowhere near that..

90% of players in this sqaud are confidence based...

I think that is true of the vast majority of players in all sports. We aren't there though. We're going through a difficult set of fixtures. If we don't get anything from the Kings Lynn game I'll change my mind.

15 games is a quater of the season. In that we've played 3 sides in the league below, 3 sides in the bottom 4, and 4 in the bottom half (when we played them).

1 win.

How can you possibly win points against a team in a higher or lower league?

Bit much counting the county cup in that 15 games too isn’t it?

We played a first X1 against a side that probably will get relegated from the Evo Stik, to try and get a confidence win and lost.

No we didn't.

Chesterfield at home, currently scheduled for Tuesday March 22nd is another possible option that may be suitable for both clubs.

We only have 3 Tuesday night games scheduled for the remainder of the season, although the 3rd fixture at King's Lynn Town is not an option as the Linnets are still in the FA Trophy.

Apologies, this is down to me.

I decided not to do a post-match interview after the Nantwich game & couldn't do one on Saturday as  I had to jump on the supporters' coach straight after the match had finished.

I am planning to do an interview with Phil Parkinson tomorrow.

There have been many down through the years but Tow Law in the FA Trophy is definitely the one that sticks in the memory.

When Andy was on Radio Robins as a summariser for the Notts County game, he said that when he was fit, it was likely that he would go on loan somewhere.

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: SOUTHEND TICKETS SOLD OUT
« on: November 25, 2021, 05:29:48 PM »
It is disappointing the communication from the club is abit haphazard. It was a great detailed statement released last Friday, but nothing since,  not even just a brief one to say the capacity for the Southend game is still to be decided. The Southend tickets went back on sale, but then were pulled. Are they going back on sale or will the capacity be limited to who has got a ticket already. As already mentioned you have to factor in season ticket holders which wasn't the case for the Gateshead game and also Southend will have a bigger away support. The statement also mentioned the opportunity to question the board tomorrow, is this going ahead? All these ground issues, which seems to have come out of the blue, can't be easy for the club to resolve to the satisfaction of the council, but maybe a more regular update to the fans would help.

There will be an opportunity to ask members of the board about ground issues that are currently being dealt with at the Christmas Party tomorrow night:-

Tickets are still available:-

Are they not doing the "live soccer sunday" thing where they have 8 fixtures happening at once they can go live to?

The change from BBC/BT Sport to BBC/ITV will bring some changes, however it seems that there are further games that are going to be televised & not played on Saturday at 3pm, so this may well still happen.

Not being televised apparently so 3pm on Saturday it is.

It's not a live game, but still not confirmed as 3pm Saturday, see the tweet below:-
