I did suspect it would be a Carlisle or a Rochdale sort of club - great move for him and he'll go straight into contention for a first team place too.

As sad as I am to see him go, I'm delighted for him and also the club to be honest - the moment our saleable assets dry up is when we start regressing.

Gutted to see Joel go, but the very best of luck to him - he's been terrific for us and obviously, we have been terrific for him too.

I can't remember much about Jamie when he has played against us, but from the clips I've seen on Chester TV, he looks like a similar player to Joel.

Hopefully, there will be more to follow in the near future.

That signing, if it pays off, could make a massive difference to the confidence of the team and give us a cracking second half of the season.

Defo weaker team than last year.

Morgan is not highly rated at Chester which is a worry when he is coming from a league below.

We do have Andy White coming back? Not sure he is good enough defensively at this level.

We really need a quality CM, LB and number 9 in this transfer window as a matter of urgency.

At least it happened early in the window so any of the proceeds destined for our own transfer kitty are in place with almost the full window still left to spend it wisely.

I'm pretty sure possibly half of the people out on loan won't be coming back so oneedhams suggestion re us needing a LB, big, strong (fast) CM and of course a good CF is pretty much on the money. If we can get hold of them, the second half of the season will be a lot better than some on here might have feared.
