As I mentioned earlier, I think Curzon could be dark horses next year

I assume they're well financially backed to be doing this sort of recruitment?

I'm fairly sure that they haven't got a sugar daddy behind them. I think they're just paying modest (but on time) wages and will operate within their means - whatever that might be

Curzon make the play offs for me next season.  Telford would if they had a better manager and stopped with their "hold the ball in the corner from the 20th minute" tactics.  Also expect Guiseley, Kidderminster and Darlington to be in and around the usual names.  York absolutely demolish the league and finish top comfortably.  Can't see Fylde or Chorley doing much tbh, don't think Chorley will make play offs, not sure about Fylde.

Lots of changes at York, if they can get a strong start then yeah they could dominate. It won't take long for the fans to get on the managers back (again) if not.

Boston will be well up there again.

I really hope Curzon do well (win it/ play-offs), a lovely club. And the best non-league 'out of town' newbuild ground. (Stadium).

Anyway... players come and go and that's part and parcel. Plaudits, if due, then pastures new, as they say. But I'd love to see Max Harrop become the player he knows he should be, even if it's elsewhere. Absolutely top bloke, his celebrations at Boston showed his devotion to the cause.

Unfortunately, ultimately, it wasn't to be for Max and Alty. And, obviously, the right decision to end the relationship. I'm sure he wouldn't disagree that he was given a fair chance to stake his claim and never quite grasped it.

Think he'd do well as the pivot in a more 'blood n' thunder ' team. (Some sort of  'Games Workshop' thing).

Thanks Max, sincere best wishes...

On paper, Hearts should murder the Scottish Championship this season. If Josh gets regular starts, he could do wonders for his reputation. Good luck to him !

He should run riot in that league, and put himself in the shop window for a move, or to force his way into Preston's plans hopefully.

Was it Hearts or Hibs that Duncan went on loan to a few years ago?

He would stand out a mile in Scottish football

Paul Turnbull has also joined Curzon. Mighty squad they’re building.

Kevin Ellison has landed at Newport County. Thought he’d drop into the National League, that’s a great move. Age is just a number.

I did think there was a chance Turnbull might come to Alty . Maybe we are till holding out for Lundstram on loan
