See main site. He thinks we're sh*t. I wasn't sure about this game, but now that I know we're being underestimated I expect to us to pick up at least a point, hopefully all three. Has he not looked at the form table!?

Why dress it up in flowery language? 'Workmanlike side' = sh*t team. 'Loyal full-back' = dreadful player. Etc etc  :D

I don't know why managers come out with stuff like this - they are lose lose aren't they?

If their teams win, it is "so what" and if they draw or lose they get eggs on their faces.

Someone with the experience (although I'm not quite sure what Hollins has actually achieved as a manager - a Div 2 promotion and that's about it) should know better.

Lol this is even better - the last few matches:

Cambridge Utd     1-0     Weymouth
Woking           1-1    Weymouth

Weymouth     3-2  Eastbourne Borough
Northwich     2-3    Weymouth

(Both of these victories came with stoppage time winners)

Weymouth     2-2    Crawley Town
Weymouth     1-2    Kidderminster

Makes a draw look the minimum we should be going for.

It's almost worse when they go they other way ... "They'll be hard to beat ....", "They're better than there league position...". You know that in the dressing room they'll be turning out the 'We should be beating teams like this nonsense".

I hope he believes what he is saying. If he thinks this Alty team are workmanlike then they'll get a nasty surprise and we'll be celebrating another away win!

Come on Alty!

I was there for both. The win wasn't pretty but it was great because it was so unexpected - 11 months since the previous away win.
The draw was so disappointing - we deserved more and thought we needed the win - but it was a great game to be at.

Let's not start crowing until after we've stuck it up em!

Just let it motivate everyone until then  ;)

Im not sure workman like is that bad. He could have done what most managers do and just say we'll be expecting to pick up points against teams like Altrincham.

I think we've moved up a rung on patronisation ladder. We're not out and out sh1t anymore we're ok with an underlying subversive sh1tness. I think we'll take the game to them at Weymouth and hopefully score first. No doubt anything other than defeat will be greeted with the usual 'we should have done better' outcry.

I love the Oxford fans 'They were the worst side i've seen this season. And we were even worse!'

BRING IT ON!!!
