I agree with this, I think we should rest a few key players and play the likes of Street and Johnson for fitness etc.

Is there not a daft rule in this tin pot cup that we have to play 9 of the starting 11 from our last league game. Don't give us much room to change things about really?

If that's the case then Johnson for Little and Street for Danylyk for me, it would be a major blow for our league campaign for one of them to get injured.

Or maybe Street for Lawton? I assume Robbie is suspended for the game at Weymouth after the fifth booking against Oxford, so it would give Street and Danylyk a chance to play together in advance of Saturday's game.

I hope that Robbie si suspended for tonight rather than Saturday. he's been excellent recently. If he doesn't play, I think you'll see Peyton in there to do all the chasing/tackling/harrying etc.

Anyone tempted by the 66/1 that Blue Square are offering for us to win the Setanta Shield?

This competition could cause a serious fixture backlog as we go for the play offs/trophy double....beating those full timers from leagues one and two will also take it out of the players.

But lets get through round one and see what happens picking up some cash as we go...crass as that may be.

if we only make the pay offs the manager needs to look at him self

we need to win the league and have it won by easter so we can concentrate on the trophy and the fa cup after easter.

Big chance for Johnson tonight. He's looked good when he's come on lately and if he can bang in a goal or two then he'll give the manager a nice selection headache.
