i presume this means staying on as chairman and not some other role such as director ?

hope we can keep it the same for next season

doubt it will be in the 1,000. bout 900 odd will be average

depends on how well we are doing could be 1,000 if in top  2or 3

i reckon val would do well in conference north again. he maybe getting a bit old but he's still more than capable me feels.

If we can get a decent wide midfielder(s) and lewis stays the middle 2 would be from bushell , lawton and chalmers .val  more of a squad player in my opinion, if he stays.

GEOFF TO STAY!
Some excellent news for Altrincham FC this morning is that chairman Geoff Goodwin has told the wesbite this morning that he would now like to stay at Moss Lane. Geoff had previously announced that he would leave at the end of 2008 but he is now keen to see the club develop further within the community. There will be more on this, later in the day....

How big a boost will this be after yesterdays developments?

GREAT NEWS

Having now slept on it, and it sinking in a bit now,I don't feel as despondant as I should be if my team gets relegated.

As I had mates texting me at 5 saying 'haha, your down', I just replied back to them saying 'This is the Conference. You don't get relegated until June.' Who knows what will happen over the coming weeks. It's not great to stay up on a technicallity, but something I'd accept.

Then the thought of how far we as a club have moved forward over the last 4 years. If only half of those who turned up yesterday returned for the 1st game next season against Leigh,we'll get a 900 gate.A win and we build it back up. Perhaps since we've taken so many steps forward recently, we have to move a step back before we progress further.

So gutted, but not downbeat. Keep most of this side, with a few good signings, and we should (note, not will) be aiming for the play-offs

Also, just looked at the BBC report for yesterday.Did they actually watch the game.

Altrincham meekly surrendered!!!

keep most of the side , well the better players, plus 2 or 3 quality additions  and we should be aiming for the title , wont be easy though.leigh prob boxing day unless witton come up

possibly although it is a 46 game season , i believe we are a better side than stafford

Well at least he remembered NOT to field an ineligible player this season

the daft tw@t should have been sacked last season

a one man vendetta on gh -why dont you start a poll asking if he should go or not

no discrepect to bt but he would not be the man for the job now , cote will hopefully stay

Why do you want him to stay????

because i cant think of anyone available who could do any better , he has done a good job with hardly any money

Because you are talking rubbish.

Alty have been fighting above their abilities with the` lowest playing budget in the Conference.

I, and many other true fans, believe there is noone that could have done better than GH & Dalton

i agree and i really hope they stay keep most of the squad and if possible still go for any players they may have done had we stayed up
