Still 4 down I believe.
It's now an absolute must that Gary Scott get fit and joins the sqaud.
Hopefully Chalmers and Senior will now stay.
If Tinson's comes then just a bona fida left back and an out and out winger are required.
defo a right back i reckon , could prob got away with as combination of scott and aspinall in bs north but not national imo
We must push on and not find ourselves dragged into relegation again this year, please God lets push on and hit the middle of the table at least,no time for sentiment, we must have the personel that are best suited to the task, and if that means a few players going then so be it,sad but we must not waste this opportunity to really establish oursleves.
Is it still 4 down this coming season or have they changed it to three??
Only according to the Burton Albion forum, apparently some lad on there who knows him has spoke to him or summat, anyone shed any light on this
one falls apart in the rain the other in the penalty area
Karl Munroe
We have a winner!
Yes indeed, it is Karl Augustus Munroe.
Congratulations.....you have won a signed lifesize cardboard figure of Andy Scott...
May be the cardboard figure will be a better footballer
couldnt resist
A couple of alternatives:
Rose can always play defensive midfield if need be.
Poss 5-3-2.
Any thoughts?
As Aspinall has pledged himself for another season I assume he's the first choice right back, only player to oust him would be G. Scott. Rose is a centre back who filled in at RB when we were desperate.
Really don't want the Munro/Rose partnership broke up no matter how good Tinson is.
Maybe GH is looking at bringing Rose in at right back, with Tinson and Munroe in the middle. this would then free up Gary Scott on the left allowing Peyton to move up to midfield as we dont know about the Lewis situation. Only thing there is Rose playing out of position at right back. Thats the only thing i can see. Or just dropping Munroe or Rose to play with Tinson.
I can't see us conceding very many goals next season, so got to be in with a chance now.
So, why can't you see us conceding many goals next season?
For a start, we haven't got a decent right full back or a left full back!
Tinson may be an experienced and capable central defender...but he can't cover both wings as well....
this may or may not be of interest to people but anyway.. here goes. yesterday i went to wembley to witness Blackpool beat Yeovil 2-0. the stadium is fantastic and everyone concerned deserves a pat on the back. from the tube station at wembley park and the ground and back everything was well organised. there was a good atmosphere there even with 59,313 in a 90,000 capacity staduim. Blackpool look well organised and quite strong although im sure life will be very different in the championship. I have seen Blackpool maybe 20 times ish over 10 years and ive always thought they were league 2 (maccs league) material, but credit where credits due they totally deserve to go up- and with a best club 10 game winning run as well. I also spoke with yeovil fans who, of course, remember their days in the GMVC, it gives me goose pimples to realise what such a wide spread club we are. commiserations to Yeovil and well done to Blackpool.
