I would like to welcome them to the wonderful world of non-league football, and congratulate them on being the last of the really rubbish teams elected to the third division North to be relegated out of the league, and on their extra 43 stolen years of league football. I wish them many happy years - in the National League North.

I see Toby wasn't in he squad today, must have pulled up with another case of sideways-moveitis.

Up until a couple of years ago, Rochdale were a great model to follow in terms of punching above their weight by developing young talent, selling them on and re-investing in the playing squad.
Shows how quickly things can change if you don't have the right people in the right roles off the pitch.

And not yet official but Hartlepool will definitely be joining them. Given the one season we previously shared this division with them was the BCD Covid season then will be good to see the monkey hangers in person. Guaranteed our game up there will be a Tuesday night though.

That it could be a Tue night away fixture is no bad thing, Hartlepool isn’t the best place in GB.
