He won't come to a Conference North club.

Really don't know. In fairness, I'd never, ever heard of people like Nicky Clee or Anthony Danylyk when they joined us. They turned out to do good jobs for us. We're really relying on the new man having contacts and a decent scouting network.

Agree with the Steve Foster part, he intrestedly mentioned on radio that the reason he didn't join us last year was because we were a national team travelling round the country which would interfere with his job. So one advantage of being in the BSN now anyway.

Steve Foster played about 20 mins for us and now he's the man to fire us straight back up? He looked ok but i'd rather have Johnson and Reeves.

Saw Steve Foster playing for Chorley at Salford the day before the Eastbourne game - he was subbed with 15 min to go having done precisely nothing. Not convinced he would be the answer. In any event, all recruitment will depend on the new manager, the financial perameters and his particular contacts.

There seems to be a train of thought running through the forum that all of the clubs players have left.its perfectly normal  for them to be thinking through new or revised deals at this time of year, for all we know a spine of a team will be perfectly happy to stay next season. This club treats its players brilliantly and some of current players have had their fingers burnt in the past and could be happy here,i can think of 3 that kenny didnt overly fancy whos decision making wont be based on kenny leaving

I don't think there is much point in talking about new players, until we have a new manager.

Indeed, and lets face it anyone who does sign the chances are many of us will never have heard of them or are on the way down and out.

I am feeling pesimisitic today  :(
