Title: What the Griffith was that?!
Post by: ripleym on July 28, 2015, 10:14:53 PM
I almost cannot believe some of the things I saw in that midfield, one of which was Griffith backing away from a Clee pass, allowing a Trafford player to intercept it, and then standing completely still and watching the same player slowly take the ball round him.

Not sure what his role is in the team, but Griffith and O'Keefe as a midfield pairing wasn't working tonight.

These signings sound poor to say the least, we could be in serious trouble

To be fair to O'Keefe, he looked much better second half.

See my thoughts in other thread, as a pairing they've simply not had the game time unfortunately.

Whilst keeping my powder fashionably dry as regards naming my first choice XI, there'd be plenty of room on my bench for Griffith, Sinnott, and O'Keefe. Though in fairness to the last named of that trio, he was very good in the second half tonight.

Cant comment on tonight as wasn't there , but O'keefe seemed ok in  previous games , as for Griffith seen him twice and not impressed so far , don't want comment on Sinnott enough said already .

Whilst we do actually need to do some training, A behind closed doors friendly against the reserves using what we want to be our starting X1 against fgr might be beneficial next Tuesday.

No, I mean as a side that trains twice weekly, a match where we can play our fgr X1 away from the eyes of any fgr scouts could be beneficial.

The behind closed doors friendly was your suggestion Mr Taxi driver

Sinnott probably keeping his powder dry, what do you have to do to get an A license?

My suggestions don't hold any water Jamie. This is a supporters message board, not a club board meeting, I think you might confuse the two sometimes. And I'm sure you could find out about UEFA coaching badges without too much looking.

A little more than Figgy and I have to do before they let us near Tesco. One thing that we have in common with Lee is that everybody knows how to do our job better than we do.....in theory.
