Barrow's Banner
« on: August 13, 2008, 11:44:59 AM »

As I got snarled in the queue outside the Golf Road getting into the ground last night I missed the first ten minutes of the game.

I've just seen on Gavin's pictures Barrow's banner proclaiming us AGM Champs.

I'm not sure whether this was done in light hearted jest, or a with a more sinister mocking tone?

we should ask can we have the banner, so we can hang it up in the golf road and take it to away games with us

Probably a bit of both. It was quite amusing though.

The banner was great.

I do think we should get hold of it - it would be great to have it on our terraces.

Football banter at its best!

They loved it, we loved it. Not sure it was their desired effect but in any case, cant see why they'd think we'd be so offended.

A million times better than that giant craney shirt that the stanley ultra boring where were you when you were sh1t crew came up with!

Hope this banner can be salvaged and taken everywhere with alty at least until december when i fly over for the crawley game!!
