Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Stockport County
« on: October 31, 2021, 11:59:52 AM »
They're doing such a great job here that it's obvious that they'd be on the radar of other clubs
I would like to think they'd be inclined to stay with us until at least the end of their contracts then see where we are as a club.
If I were them, the security and freedom given to them here would be a big factor but to manage a team with loadzamoney is a temptation.
I don't think Stockport is the right move but if someone like Crewe came knocking sometime in the future...

Pretty much word for word my view.

I can see why County would be keen, but feel they want to have somebody who's won over course and distance.

That would make obvious that the money was behind the first decision so they won’t do that. I wonder if the fact that our COVID related absences were not as a result of direct infection ie positive tests for players but rather because the players are not vaccinated and so have to isolate, something the league perhaps see as avoidable and therefore on us to deal with?

If adults choose not to get jabbed up there is very little employers can do. I'm recruiting at work at the moment and I asked if we can ask about candidates vaccination status and I was very clearly told no. What are the club supposed to do?

I presume that an official club statement will have to follow in which the asinine offender is issued with a lifetime ban from the J Davidson Stadium.

A fine for the club is inevitable.

Can we crowd find a legal case to get the cock womble to pay us back for his bellendery?

If you are double jabbed then you are supposed to be ok to carry on as per normal if a contact tests positive. From this I deduce that some of our players are not double jabbed.

Am I missing something?

Blokes a tool. I know it's cost more than its worth but if we get fined I'd like this clown to pay us back.

Solihull played a better game, especially second half. Two well taken goals, a lot of lovely passing and movement. Having said that Colclough would have set them a load of puzzles and created space elsewhere.

Come on Alty

Great gate, fantastic idea to make it such a great deal.

A message to the cock-womble that came on the pitch towards the end. You're a pathetic cock-womble.

Can anybody reassure me that PP has his mobile turned off please? We don't want the neighbours calling him.

Play like we can there's nothing to stop us getting another away point. Should Tony be back between the sticks that'll boost our options team and tactics wise.

Eastleigh 1
Alty 2

Only heroic defending and goalkeeping keeping Gateshead out at the moment.

Booking a train to Newcastle...
