Further to the article on the main site recently about John McManus, Assistant Manager of Altrincham Ladies I am very, very proud to announce that John is now the WORLD CHAMPION 2014 in Traditional Weapons.

I am advised that "traditional  weapons" is a bowstaff

I have also been subsequently informed that John has also won Silver and Bronze medals today

To become World Champion at anything requires total commitment, dedication and in Johns case a high level of fitness.
Well done John and congratulations.

On a lighter side next time there is any trouble at Moss Lane we can just release John and watch him sort it out ;)
