Gutted. He really is what we need out right.

His interchange play is excellent and a threat.

Worried about losing Colclough aswell, we'd be in a pickle.

It'll either be Rochdale, or a return to his home club Barrow (which makes the most sense I suppose).

Indeed, yes, but, as a younger player,  he might go back to be loaned out again to someone higher up the food chain in League Two.

Good luck to Elliot Newby, anyway. He has had two excellent loan spells with us, once in a poor team, and once in a good team. I had hoped he would join permanently, but  feared this would happen as he has done so well.
