Well that’s a shock, on their gates the man had done absolute miracles to get them up and keep them up for a few years now. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one comes back to bite them and they plunge into the relegation battle. They also comfortably outplayed us back in September at our place so doubly surprised. Sure he’ll get a new job before long.

Utterly bizarre. On a par as when Hereford sacked their manager early season
-
Seems like a crazy decision. They haven't won for a few games but they're still mid-table and with a gap to the relegation places. Maybe he'd taken them as far as he could but I too expect him to do better in the future than CA.

Next stop Ashton,Staly or Hyde?

Nothing involving football club chairman suprises me anymore

It's never the club board's fault or the chairman's fault is it? always sack the manager.
Like they've got some devine right to be higher than mid table conf North....sack the board I say they clearly haven't supported the manager with a decent budget!!

TBH I totally agree with Sarf London Alty. The man seemed to have worked magic. I was surprised when they went up and even more surprised when they stayed up with the gates they get. I believe that the adjacent astro turf pitches they own generates good income but nevertheless their gates are relatively low to sustain a conference north team. I also fear for their neighbours Ashton. Again, relatively low gates but a good club house/pub seems to keep them going. SBL

Something is going on there behind the scenes, it cant be about his ability ?

They've wasted no time in promoting the youth team manager to first team duties.
Oh dear oh dear

Well, there you go. Wouldn't be surprised if they do a Vauxhall at the end of the season and voluntarily relegate themselves.
