Excerpt from the Messenger this week:

"Now the only outstanding debts are directors' loans owed to former board members and they too will be paid off when the club receives its share of the money generated by Trafford Council's sale of the land behind Moss Lane's Hale End."

Please, please tell me that this doesn't relate to the Director's Loan of over £300k attributed to a certain Gerald Berman.

I thought that the only way that he could claim this money back was if the club were to relocate from Moss Lane?

He nearly destroyed this club with his ludicrous Fantasy Football regime at Moss Lane.

Please leave us alone.

will we get 300k from the land?

Either way maybe its best to pay these loans off now to save any more heartache in the future. get the monkey off your back so to speak!

If the messenger is correct in saying we'll be debt free once the land money comes through then it'll be a good thing to see the back of the burdens that have kept us down.

If we keep fundraising and acheiving so much off the field we could be stable in this league and still make a profit. That would be testament to the current board not the shadows of the past!

It brings a smile to my face even now, when im stuck in the office on good friday cos the french dont see fit to have a 4 day session. Bloody spoil sports!

It doesn't Cult.  Berman only gets his money if we move we is now very unlikely.

It relates to smaller amounts to other ex directors.

Ecky,

Thank you (and have a Goodwin) for putting my mind at rest.

Suddenly, the Good aspect of this particular Friday seems to have appeared....!

I thought that this was the case regarding the Bermanomics years......but my paranoia had kicked in!

Alas, unable to get to St Albans tomorrow.
Will be sat in front of the computer issuing prayers to any deity that is inclined to listen.
