The Moss Lane Miracle
« on: March 28, 2007, 12:46:03 PM »

In the second half last evening, who was the Stafford player that was writhing in 'agony' in our penalty area at the Chequers End......only then suddenly and miraculously to spring to his feet and sprint back to the opposite end of the pitch when Colin Little won a free kick on the edge of the Stafford penalty area?

He received a wonderfully sarcastic round of applause from the Main Stand!

I think it was Madjo - the Stafford man-of-the-match (later carried off after a clash with Stu that he couldn't get up from!)

madjo had spent most of the evening on the floor after some 'fouls' that really shouldnt have been. they went down under everything even ones that didnt make a lot of contactor absolutely none at all. so i wasnt surprised to see him stay down after the challenge with stu. any news on what actually happened to him??

Rumour has it that he was OK in the dressing room afterwards

Can I say what an excellent piece there was in last night's programme?  Some unknown Alty fan who calls himself Barry Pikesley wrote a facinating piece about players who'd played for both teams.  Must have taken a huge amount of research and I found it very interesting, particularly all the players we've shared with Telford, which actually wasn't the point but came out as an aside.

I think this regular contributor should win us the usual programme of the season award, even without the rest of the content of the Robins Review.

Well done
