Interesting reading. There seems to be a pretty unanimous view that DH was one of Chester's best players, so I'm sure he'll do well for us once he's settled in and is being played in the right position (I'd suggest alongside Luca against all but the biggest and most physical teams, when I might bring in Marshall). It's equally clear that he was playing in central defence for them, so all those people advocating he plays in midfield are guilty of wishful thinking I'm afraid - we saw last night where square pegs in round holes gets us.

Presumably you mean the Horan bit. No I don't think we were aware of it, unless I missed it too. Interesting that we wouldn't pay a fee.

Yes I was referring to the Horan bit although the whole thread puts Danny in a good light.

Don't we have an unwritten rule that we don't pay for players? I remember someone on here complaining in the summer
