For one thing Danylyk was hardly played by the former manager and so how he can be branded as a poor performer is beyond me. That said if he was more of a regular last season we would have probably still been playing BSP level. Clearly you don,t see the shift he puts in and the number of times a) he gets the team out of the mire by clearing up in defence b) decent balls played forward to attack which are not regularly capitalised on. Please tell me when Danylyk figured in the woeful games last season cause he certainly did not figure much after super Ken subbed him when 1-0 down at Histon which went on to end 3-0. Also not present at the substantial hammerings we took! As for cuts in wages, are you privy to what he has sacrificed, I think not! Sort the defence out and get the goal in the net from some of the many chances we create that's the answer! Wake up and lay the blame where it really lies!

I never said Danylyk was to blame, just pointing out that last seasons players may take up a large part of the budget. For all we know the defence we have is all Lee can afford.

If there are no transfer restrictions in this league then Mr Sinnott needs to earn his money and do some wheeler dealing. Get rid of some of the crap he's signed and get some atleast half decent players in!

Can't agree with you about Lees  - quite rate the lad, but would try him at left back when Flynn returns.

At the fans meeting Lee was asked did he have another job outside football and his reply was no.If that is the case and also taking into account that he travels from Hull where he lives,I would expect that he was offered a pretty good deal by Alty to secure his services,thus reducing the budget somewhat on the playing side.I may be totally wrong on this but it is just a theory that I have.

Each individual that was interviewed was given the same management pay budget.

Agreed.I'd like to see Lees at left back,he looked decent there in pre season. Then again Jones looked good in pre season...
