Altrincham in the 80's
« on: December 09, 2014, 11:41:47 AM »

Was browsing the Internet on my break and found some old photos on a flickr account from Enfiled FC that includes some photos of an FA Trophy Semi Final that i thought would interest a few on here and bring back memories for others.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/35233459@N02/3672414363/in/photostream/

they are part of a greater album but there are a few very good quality photos, was nice to see how the ground looked back in the 80's and see a Densmore putting in a strong challenge. more of the same saturday please

Class and those memories come flooding back.....just look at the determination on those faces of yesteryear.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but can anyone remember a televised/video'd Alty game, possibly 80s/early 90s that was filmed from the popular side, facing the main stand? Always thought it was the Barnet game, but the camera's on the other side.

Sorry to be so unbelievably vague  ???

This one (and I still can't believe how bad Gary Stewart's penalty was)?

Jeff Johnson and John McMahon - seen wearing shirts that bear the name of the first company to sponsor Alty's kit:

Ah, a full Main Stand at Moss Lane (and no restricted view of one of the corner flags!):
