It was a good, and deserved, win, as Macc certainly wanted to win and weren't going through the motions, and they are currently a League team even if it beggars belief that an EFL team don't have a goalkeeper signed up at this stage. The first half keeper had played for them previously and was substituted in a game against AFC Fylde which they lost 7-0. A bit like us resigning Messrs Dawber or Preston?
I was impressed by Lloyd Bannister, who wore the number 3 shirt when he came on, but played at right back, both forhis attacking and defensive play. The only thing is that right back is hardly a problem position. He appears to have been playing for Patro Eisden Maasmechelen in the Belgian third tier.
