County Cups

According to the FA. County Cups are not counted for first team matches for suspension purposes, as they seem to be counted as reserve games. If that is the case then how can these matches be allowed to be played causing a postponement of a first team game?

Because it's the rules..........one set by The FA and one set by the County FA

Itr is ridiculous, if a player is sent off in a County Cup match then he misses a league game, but if he is sent off in a league game, he can't sit out the County Cup as his suspension, makes a great deal of sense to me...

This all about the local FA's putting on a face so they appear far more important than they are.  To a large extent they are pretty meaningless so where they do have some say over what goes on they act the big man.
