Let's hear it for Shildon

Through to the 5th.Round (last 16) of the Vase, after a 2-0 away win on their long trip to Bitton (Gloucestershire)

Next tie looks a hard one, they travel to Suffolk to play Brantham Athletic, who put out Whitley Bay yesterday.

Bet Bonz and Wilf are buzzing. If they go all the way, I shall try to make it to the Final and cheer them on.

I think there will be a few Alty fans that will head to wembley if Shildon get there!

Never heard of Brantham Athletic so did a bit of digging round the interweb.  That will be a tough game for Shildon, Brantham are third in the table, scored 55 & are equal top scorers.  Not so sure about their defence though.  They play in the same league as Ely City - got a mate who supports them so I'll see what he makes of Brantham.

C'mom Shildon...

Opposition man sent off, subsequent penalty missed, pitch like the north face of the Eiger,
Are you sure this isn't an Alty match report?
