It is a shame his career has lost its way. I hope he can bounce back.

I think he chose to leave to be closer to home, work and family.

Meanwhile Chester lost 0-4 in the cup at home against Maersk (a shipping company?! ;)) who had ten men for last 15 mins. Ouch

We swapped Johnston for Mahon - banked a fee on top - and used it to get first choice wingers for both sides (Mooney and Durrell) - oh, and threw in Josh Lundstram on loan for good measure.

Possibly the most incredible (and promotion-winning) month of business we've ever done.

Ironically it’s Chester that were far better at shipping goals
