Apologies if I've missed it but I don't think we have a Euro 2012 betting thread.

Whose going for what then?

I like France at 10-1 with Benzema at 12-1 to be top scorer after the brilliant season he's just had.

RVP is also generally available at around 10s to be top scorer.

Jimmy Hill and Rocket Dan will be all over this. Is anyone mental enough to bet on England to win?

Italy at 14-1 isn't a bad shout. Although not looking great, the last time the match fixing scandal was about, they won the World Cup.

Poland may spring a surprise and top their group. Have 3 key players who were in the Dortmund double winning side, and Szczesny has improved a lot this season.

RVP can also be got as top Premier League scorer at 5s, I forget what Andy Carroll is for that ;D

I've decided to be extremely patriotic:

£5 on Welbeck (top goalscorer) @ 100/1

£10 on England (to win outright) @ 13/1, plus another £10 now they have drifted out to 15/1




Also had a couple of quid on Torres to be top goalscorer (18/1) - after a crapy season domestically, the floodgates are ready to open.

If we're on top scorers, you can get Fulham's Russian-Pogrenybak (sp??)- at 80-1, given at the end of the PL season he scored every time he had a shot at goal that's quite tempting.

Team to conceed least goals in tournament - Poland 14-1 or more likely Russia 10-1.  Group A will have very few goals in it and then they go out next round.  Spain will play too many matches against decent sides.

Ive backed the Dutch at about 8/1. While I would love Spain to do it again. I don't think it's going to happen. England/Liverpool not arsed. I sort of hope they go out in the group stages. I just don't respect some of the players that are in the England squad at the moment.
