Afternoon all, bloody BBC iplayer, why can't we just have normal streaming radio? The pathetic state of broadband in Ireland is such that it can't cope and all I'm getting is intermittent babble.

It's just a sh*te away day Rushden, no good pubs, souless, rip off to get in, in fact the only thing I can think of to recommend it is the Diamond burger. It's never really a popular one for us I'm afraid Vienna.

It's also a nightmare to get to using public transport - nearest station (Wellingborough) is chuffin' miles away from the ground

Precisely, so what are they on about. We have nearly 10%.

I'd actually be worried if I was a R&D fan, that stadium, plus team will require some cash to sustain it and now old Dr M, Max has gone where does it come from?

Our first win at Nene Park.

Are we allowed to celebrate....or would that be classed as being "unrealistic" behaviour?

Great result, getting these points on the board early is just what we need. Not getting carried away but safety by Easter and the chance of a good run in the cups would be brilliant.

BBC just been through the league tables.  For the conference they gace the scores for Oxford and Stevenage and then said  "the rest of the top 7 all won" - took a while to sink in that that meant us!

If only we hadn't conceded that additional time equaliser at Stevenage last week, we would now be lying in fifth position..!

But if we had won at Stevenage and Rushden and come back from 2-1 down after 92 minutes to win, all in the space of a week with a depleted squad then I for one would be getting carried away with unrealistic expectations that anything could happen!  As it is I'm just delighted!

As we've been told that we mustn't harbour unrealistic expectations, I shall be tonight's wet blanket.

All three of the clubs immediately below us have a game (two in one case) in hand on us, so we could be back down to 10th. before long.

Just back from the game... I thought all the Alty lads put in a good performance today.. BBC TV said Tom curled the free kick into the top corner (It actually was deflected and went in the bottom corner) but hey ho who gives a sh1t..

The Alty fans pissed off the stewards after their half hearted request for us to sit down was ignored (we werent blocking anybody's view). But they did let us out for a ciggy at half time ..

The wind didnt permit pretty football but as I say all the Alty lads did what was required to bury the hoodoo of never beating R&D at their place..

Good banter amongst the Alty fans who it seemed  influenced the lino on more than one occassion (I may have to start standing in the Golf road end)  ;)

Nice to see Greg, Robbie and Colin get 20 mins as well..

Nice ground but the entrance fee and food outlet was pretty expensive and 3 quid for a programme.

7th place and in my mind we are not in a false position...

Well done GH KK the backroom staff and of course the lads

Cmon Alty.

Today was simple... Alty are back, we play with passion, our team are beginning to look like a close knit family. Like Tony Sanders team of 1976-1981.
Pride... passion.. belief..
Nicky Clee was top man outfield.. Stu must be in Team of the week in NLP
Chris Senior ran his bits off.
We have plenty of options now, Robbie W up front,3 at the back but with Densie to drop back as needed.
We should be fear no other tea in this league.
Best squad since warly 90s
Proud to be a Robin!
Where ever we finish this season it is clear that The Robins are on the march. No one will wa t us in the Cup.
Lets get the League Teams beaten count going again.
Believe, shout your socks off and who knows where it'll end.
