Time to get this Season Back on Track
« on: September 09, 2011, 09:46:31 AM »

Is this the weekend we finally start to establish ourselves as contenders?
Scoring doesn't seem to be a problem, and hopefully Lee has sorted the problems we had in defence. If we can manage a convincing victory tomorrow, some other teams might start to take notice.

3 - 0 to Alty!!

Without wishing to add any pressure, we are at quite a delicate point now.

6 points off the playoffs and 1 point off the drop zone.

A win against Worcester ( no pushovers but we are at home), a point at Colwyn Bay (who will be a good side I think) and three points at Solihull (who must be poor, taking out all the Alty factors of obvious let downs etc)  will make things very different.

Lets get right behind them tomorrow, no excuses.  Get you social chatter out of the way early doors and lets get a good atmosphere going .

They have no points from 7 games and are away at Boston tomorrow, so there's every chance of 0 points from 8 games by the time they play us. There's a certain inevitability about next week's game isn't there.

The season Lewes embarrassed themselves in the National, hadn't they lost something like 18 on the trot before we went to the Dripping Pan in mid April and promptly lost 2-0?

Solihull wil lose tomorrow, and sack bignot. They will then appoint some well knowm  manager currently without a job, who takes the roles as a stop gap, brings in daryl clare on loan and we lose 0-1 next week, via a daryl clare goal.
