Ball 63 should we be victorious, fingers crossed.

I remember watching the draw last year with such excitement, all the family glued to the tv !  And then it all went wrong and we had to follow Warrington instead.

Such fine lines between winning the lottery and not. We thrive at being the underdog and came so close at Burton, the current lads can write themselves into folklore in the coming weeks.

Can't see Luton letting him be cup tied,  especially after McNulty going to Tranmere

I think Saturday is the last day of his current loan period; I share the doubts as to whether Luton would want him Cup-tied; and in any event his injury might rule him out. Don't put money on him being in the squad.

The local paper here in Chester already has the teams for the game and Parry isn't in it, so looks like you were right!!

The Chester chronicle makes out as if they are playing a side rooted to the bottom of the table/conference north side rather than a team that's had a pretty similar season in the same league. So I'd not take their word as gospel

No one announces their team the day before a game, more likely about half an hour before ko.

It was in that bastion of high quality reporting The Leader. I hope you weren't taking me seriously!
One of their summarisers also says that out of Wrexham and Chester, Wrexham have the trickier tie!!

http://www.leaderlive.co.uk/sport/154070/steve-burr-says-fa-cup-progress-would-be-massive-for-chester-fc.aspx

Steve Burr: “Over the years as a player and as a manager Altrincham has been quite a happy hunting ground for me and hopefully that will be the same this weekend."

Er....not in the FA Cup though, by my reckoning.

Two joyously comprehensive defeats as a Macclesfield Town player in FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round replays at Moss Lane in 1988 and 1990 respectively.

Here's to more misery for him on Saturday afternoon.
