It's official, we have nothing left to play for this season. Therefore, planning for next season should begin immediately (if it hasn't already).
LS hopefully has an idea which players are likely to be here next season and which ones are not. Priority should now be given (where possible) to the players who have a future here. Whether you like Twiss or not (by all accounts he's been doing ok) I'd say it's unlikely he'll be kept on next season. Therefore, what is the point in him starting any more games for us? We've effectively got an extended pre-season, so let's at least use it to our advantage.
But chances are, our strike force will contain no reeves or twiss - therefore do suggest dropping them both?
The chances are he will still be in Lee Sinnott's plans though, which means he warrants a place in the team. And you know that's what I meant anyway, you're just being pedantic as usual.
Plans should be realistic - and therefore Lee/the board will have a good idea if the lad is staying or not, if he isnt, then under your theory he shouldnt play as we should try and build up partnerships
I agree we should be looking a building partnerships - such as densmore/phelan or lynch/phelan as a midfield duo as a bit of consitaency would do the side a world of good, especially in the core of the side (CB/CM/ST)
Im not sayign "drop damien because he might not be here" but its a little narrow minded to say "dont play twiss, because hes not here, but its ok to play nicky/damien ect. even though they could potentially move on"
WE should realistically have all of this squad (who lee wants) signed up now if possible, then he has 3 months (may, april, june) to find replacements, trial and sign them
