King's Lynn suffered a serious financial blow yesterday with the shock resignation of major investor Michael Chinn. Lynn chairman Ken Bobbins launched a public appeal for new backers to come forward in a bid to plug a growing deficit in the club's finances following Chinn's sudden exit and the loss of vital sponsorship revenue.

No, that was Nicky Chinn, as in Chinn/Chapman. They wrote songs for The Sweet, Slade, Suzi Quatro, Alvin Strardust, Mud and loads more.

Another local club with financial ‘difficulties’ seems to be Stockport County.

According to various sources the club need to pay off a £450,000 tax bill 'within months' !!!

Yes.

There's only two places for a start!

You'd have to put in a special effort to finish below Luton this seaosn, but i'm pleased that we would have been well away from the relegation battle regardless of the points deductions this season.
