The Three new players

Thought they looked useful Perry could cause an aerial threat to defenders ,and at last we score from spot , wiiliams looked solid, like the look of young Gilroy to.

What was the score and did we have any decent trialists on show?

It was 3-2 to Accrington but they only really took over when we were flagging in the heat and they brought about 8 subs on to get a last minute winner.

Probably the hottest day ever at Moss Lane that I can remember, incredible, they will have sweated off a few pounds.

Thought all the new players  did well, Perry is a lot taller than I remember him and showed some good touches, Walshaw penalty was superb and Williams looked a steady head with Havern.

A very settled and mature display from young Gilroy as well, like the look of him.

A good workout.

Perry and Williams were superb. Not impressed with Walshaw but its pre-season and means jack sh*t

Perry was no 7?
Walshaw 10?

Of the two triallists, Freakes in midfield looked out of his depth, but Bailey at left back could be useful.
