The town needs to back its football club on tuesday
« on: March 27, 2011, 02:37:34 PM »

We all have a duty to spread the word about tuesday and get the word out to as many people as possible about tuesdays massive game. This team are on the verge of climbing out of hell, and they deserve a big following roaring them on this tuesday. There is no football on tv,so get all those floaters and residents with any civic pride to back "their" club when the clubs needs them, maybe as payback for the special FA Cup days the non regular attendees have enjoyed over the years....

I'm glad to see that the away match experience at Scouseport eralie in the season hasn't totally put your colleague off watching Alty (and/or Southport) for life.

It was probabaly the worst Alty away match I have attended this season.

Hopefully Tuesday will be a BIG improvement ..

Interesting interview with Liam Watson on BBC website - his line is that they've got to get their points at home & he didn't even mention Tuesday's game. Camouflage - or an admission that their away form really is dire? I suspect the former.

As an English man,who in their right mind would want to watch the England team lead by Terry at all,let alone a reserve team against Ghana,I'm working anyroad

I know really we need to take 3 points if we can on Tuesday, but I do think the win at Darlington takes the pressure off tomorrow night's game. It is not ABSOLUTELY must win anymore, and I hope this allows the players to play with a bit more freedom and confidence than they may otherwise have done. If they do that, I'm sure we do have enough to win the game, but simply avoiding defeat would not be a disaster this time either in my view.

2-0 Alty for me I reckon.
