Looks like we will sign a quality 21 yr old defender , liam brownhill. Good to see Alty are drafting in some young blood this time: I honestlly think we will stay up on merit next season.......... I predict top half of the table!

I'll go along with that, couple of decent loanees and mid-table is possible. I just really want a decent FA Cup draw, could set us up perfectly for the next season if we get Leeds or Leicester away in Round One.

One step at a time...lets just make sure we sign Brownhill up first.

Who will be the first to say we need more experience in the team, someone to put their foot on the ball and read the game ...

It only takes a couple of injuries and we are bare. But things are looking good especially if we get Brownhill.

Seems like the team is taking shape nicely.

Someone with a sense of humour, I do see his point though

We just need players who are up for it and have the ability to perform at this level.

There age must be pretty much an irrelavance.

The good thing about having young players who are good enough for this level is that they havn't reached their peak yet so in a few years time will hopefully be better than this level!  :D

And even if in the short term (ie. the next few matches) age is an irrelevance, it's just young players generally bring more enthiusiasm and there's always the hope that we'll have uncovered a gem which we can sell on for big money.

I think you make a fair point. I think its always good to have a balance in a team with some expierence in it however.

Maybe its because i am getting old  ;) Sticking up for the oldies lol
